Typical springtime stuff – heavy rain and strong winds have postponed a trip to Southland for some early season Mayfly fishing. Let’s hope next week is kinder to us.
On the upside I believe the rainbow trout are running late to spawn this year, and so hopefully the high waters generated by the rainfall wont adversely affect breeding. Let’s hope!
