TRANSPORT

Travel to Wanaka is a 1-hour drive from Queenstown airport, and Hawea is a further 15 minutes from Wanaka.
Our fly fishing service includes pick up from your accommodation in Wanaka or Hawea.
A company called Wanaka Connections runs a service several times daily between Wanaka and Queenstown – check out our links page.
We are happy to arrange an airport transfer if required.

We recommend booking accommodation well in advance to avoid disappointment.

There are a good selection of fashion clothing stores and art galleries as well as sporting stores and hire equipment to outfit you on other adventures.

WANAKA RESTAURANTS

Wanaka has some 30 different food outlets and restaurants, with most ethnic styles covered.

LAKE WANAKA AREA

Options abound, and when you’re fly fished out (never!) there are many hikes, sightseeing, and adventure activities to choose from. For the more adventurous there is mountain biking, canyoning, and kayaking, but also many lower impact ones, such as a vineyard lunch after a round on our beautiful golf course.
