We have fly fishing in the Wanaka and Hawea region to suit most levels of fitness and skill. Most venues have easy walking and access, but if you feel like camping overnight by a backcountry river, I suggest you check out the "adventure fishing" page.

The fly fishing locations we take you to are accessed by 4WD or boat, with traveling time between 30 and 90 minutes.
We pick up from your accommodation at 8am and return you at approximately 6.30pm. Fly fishing times are flexible, so if you want more relaxed start or finish it is no problem - the aim is for you to enjoy your fly fishing experience.

Tasty lunches, snacks, and refreshments are provided, as well as quality equipment (including rods, reels, waders, boots) and extra clothing. We can outfit you completely if required.
Please note you must have a license to fly fish New Zealand - these are easily arranged through your guide at an extra cost (currently NZ$21 per day or NZ$102 per year).

FULL DAY GUIDED FLY FISHING

Fly fishing for New Zealand wild brown and rainbow trout in the rivers, lakes and streams of the Wanaka and Hawea region.

Rate: 1 angler NZ$690, 2 anglers $NZ750

Includes:

HALF DAY GUIDED FLY FISHING

Fly fishing to New Zealand wild brown and rainbow trout at locations involving less travel time. Please be aware this limits our options of location.

Rate: 1 angler NZ$390, 2 anglers NZ$490

Includes:

• Half day guiding for 1 or 2 people (duration 5 - 6 hours).
• Pick up and drop off at accommodation.
• Transportation by 4WD or boat.
• Refreshments.
• Quality equipment and clothing if required.
• Flies and tippet for local conditions.

NEW ZEALAND CAMP OUT PACKAGE (see also "Adventure Fishing")

Stay overnight in an authentic backcountry hut or camp out, and enjoy wilderness New Zealand fly fishing for wild trout at its best.

Rate: NZ$1690 one person, NZ$1890 two persons

• 2 Full days guided sight fly fishing.
